Usage
Citakan:ISO 639 name bn is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{[[:Citakan:Translated page|Translated pageCitakan:!))}} with language code bn, for example: {{Translated page |bn |name of page at Bengali Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Bengali Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Bengali Wikipedia (may be created using {{[[:Citakan:Translated sub-cat|Translated sub-cat Citakan:!))|bn}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{[[:Citakan:Lang|LangCitakan:!))|bn| some text in Bengali}} wraps the text with <span lang="bn"> and could be used by the template {{[[:Citakan:Lang|LangCitakan:!))}} with language code bn to include articles in Category:Articles containing Bengali-language text (may be created using {{[[:Citakan:Category articles containing non-English-language text|Category articles containing non-English-language text Citakan:!))|Bengali |bn}}). Also available is {{[[:Citakan:Lang-bn|Lang-bn Citakan:!))|some text in Bengali}} which displays as Basa Benggala: some text in Bengali.
- {{[[:Citakan:Link language|Link languageCitakan:!))|bn}} displays the language of an external link. This template could add articles to Category:Articles with Bengali-language external links (may be created using {{[[:Citakan:Non-English-language external links category|Non-English-language external links category Citakan:!))|code=bn |name=Bengali}}).
