Usage
Citakan:ISO 639 name ar is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{[[:Citakan:Translated page|Translated pageCitakan:!))}} with language code ar, for example: {{Translated page |ar |name of page at Arabic Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Arabic Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Arabic Wikipedia (may be created using {{[[:Citakan:Translated sub-cat|Translated sub-cat Citakan:!))|ar}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{[[:Citakan:Lang|LangCitakan:!))|ar| some text in Arabic}} wraps the text with <span lang="ar"> and could be used by the template {{[[:Citakan:Lang|LangCitakan:!))}} with language code ar to include articles in Category:Articles containing Arabic-language text (may be created using {{[[:Citakan:Category articles containing non-English-language text|Category articles containing non-English-language text Citakan:!))|Arabic |ar}}). Also available is {{[[:Citakan:Lang-ar|Lang-ar Citakan:!))|some text in Arabic}} which displays as Basa Arab: some text in Arabic.
- {{[[:Citakan:Link language|Link languageCitakan:!))|ar}}, {{[[:Citakan:Ar icon|ar iconCitakan:!))}}, and possibly {{[[:Citakan:Ar|arCitakan:!))}}, displays the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with Arabic-language external links (may be created using {{[[:Citakan:Non-English-language external links category|Non-English-language external links category Citakan:!))|code=ar |name=Arabic}}).
- {{[[:Citakan:R from other language|R from other languageCitakan:!))|ar|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Arabic-language terms (may be created using {{[[:Citakan:Redirect from alternative language category|Redirect from alternative language categoryCitakan:!))}}).
- {{[[:Citakan:R from alternative language|R from alternative languageCitakan:!))|("from" language code)|ar}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Arabic-language terms (may be created using {{[[:Citakan:Redirect to alternative language category|Redirect to alternative language categoryCitakan:!))}}).
