Raja Jéongjo (lahir 22 Séptémber 1752-28 Juni 1800, maréntah 1776-1800) nyaéta raja ka-22 Dinasti Joseon.[1][2] Manéhna jadi pewaris tahta aki na, Raja Yeongjo (maréntah 1724-1776) sarta digentikeun ku anakna, Raja Sunjo (maréntah 1800-1834).[2]

Raja Jéongjo nyaéta anak ti Putra Mahkota Sado jeung Putri Mahkota Hyégyeong.[2] Ngaran aslina Yi San Tuluy, Raja Yeongjo ngahukum mati Putra Mahkota Ssdo taun 1762, keur Yi San yuswana 11 taun.[2] Ibuna, Putri Mahkota Hyégyeong ngajarkeun Yi San sangkan teu dendam ka aki na.[2]

Taun 1776, aki na, Raja Yeongjo pupus, tuluy Yi San jadi Raja Jéongjo tanggal 10 Maret 1776.[1] Ratu Jeongsun, nini téréna sababaraha kali rék nelasan Jéongjo, tapi ahirna gagal, tuluy Ratu Jeongsun jadi bagian pangleutikna di istana.[1]

Dina pamaréntahan Raja Jéongjo, Karajaan Joseon jadi karajaan anu berkembang pesat.[2] Raja Jéongjo berkotribusi dina kamajuan nagara.[2] Raja Jéongjo jeung Raja Séjong dianggap jadi pamingpin jeung visionér anu suksés.[1]

Dina pamaréntahanna, Raja Jéongjo ngabersihkeun ngaran bapana, Putra Mahkota Sado, sarta mindahkeun istana jeung puseur dayeuh ka kota Suwon sangkan deukeut jeung makam bapana.[2] Taun 1800, Raja Jéongjo pupus sacara misterius.[2]
